About

Practitioners, not theorists.

Provable AI was built on a simple premise: the best AI governance advice comes from people who have shipped the systems they govern.

LSE

Postgraduate training in AI ethics and governance

Production AI

Shipped AI systems at scale — not just advised on them

UK Scale-ups

Advisory across growth-stage technology businesses

Board-level

Governance frameworks that hold under board scrutiny

The background

Most AI governance advice is written by people who have never shipped an AI system. Most AI adoption advice is written by people who have never held a production incident. The gap between what gets recommended and what actually works in a scale-up is significant.

Provable AI was founded to close that gap. The advisory practice draws on LSE postgraduate training in AI ethics, on having built and shipped AI systems in production environments, and on having advised UK scale-ups through the specific challenges of the growth stage — where the early decisions start to show their cost and the organisation has to change faster than it is comfortable with.

The work is practical and specific. We do not sell frameworks that require a transformation programme to implement. We identify what is actually blocking progress, build a credible path through it, and stay involved long enough to know whether it worked.

How we work

Candid over comfortable

We tell leadership teams what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. That is the only way advisory work is actually useful.

Specific over general

Every engagement is scoped to a specific problem. We do not sell generic frameworks or retainers that drift. The work has a clear deliverable and a clear end.

Practitioner knowledge

The advice comes from having done the work — shipped the systems, held the incidents, sat in the board meetings where the governance failed. Not from having read about it.
