Six ways we work together.

Every engagement is different. Most start with a single conversation about where things are stuck.

01

AI Adoption Strategy

From pilot to production — with a funding case and a commercial owner.

Most AI programmes stall between proof of concept and production. The technical work is rarely the problem. The problem is that nobody has built the funding case, agreed who owns the commercial outcome, or decided what "done" actually means. We build the adoption strategy that covers all three: the technical roadmap, the business case, and the governance structure that gives the programme a real chance of shipping.

Typical engagement: 4–12 weeks. Deliverable: adoption roadmap, funding narrative, and commercial ownership model.

02

AI Governance

Governance that survives a board question, not just a workshop.

Most AI governance frameworks are written for the workshop that produced them. They look credible on paper and collapse under the first hard question from a board member, a regulator, or a customer. We build governance that draws on LSE training in AI ethics and on having shipped the systems it governs — so it reflects how AI actually behaves in production, not how it behaves in a slide deck.

Typical engagement: 6–10 weeks. Deliverable: governance framework, risk register, and board-ready briefing.

03

Platform & Delivery Reviews

Architecture, reliability, and the operating model that holds both together.

Scale-ups often discover their platform cannot carry the volume the commercial side has already sold. We run structured reviews across architecture, reliability practice, and the operating model — identifying where the constraints are, what the realistic remediation path looks like, and what the organisation needs to change to hold both at the next size.

Typical engagement: 2–4 weeks. Deliverable: written review with prioritised findings and remediation options.

04

Engineering Leadership Coaching

The structure a technical organisation needs once it has outgrown the one it started with.

Founders and first-time engineering leaders often inherit an organisation that worked at twenty people and does not work at eighty. The problems are structural, not personal — but they show up as personal. We work with engineering leaders on the specific challenges of running a technical organisation through a growth inflection: team design, decision-making, hiring, and the relationship between engineering and the rest of the business.

Typical engagement: ongoing monthly retainer or fixed-term programme. Format: 1:1 sessions and structured reviews.

05

Stalled Problem Resolution

Taking specific problems off a leadership team.

Some problems are not strategic — they are just stuck. A migration that has been "almost done" for six months. A release train nobody trusts. A hiring plan built for a shape the company has already left. We take these off the leadership team: diagnose what is actually happening, build a credible path forward, and either run it or hand it back with enough structure that someone else can.

Typical engagement: 2–8 weeks depending on scope. Deliverable: diagnosis, remediation plan, and optional execution support.

06

Scale-up Advisory

For teams where the AI programme and the platform are both under strain.

We advise UK scale-ups at the point where the early decisions are starting to show their cost — AI pilots with no route to production, platforms that cannot carry the volume already sold, engineering organisations that have outgrown their structure. The work is practical and specific: we identify what is actually blocking progress and build a path through it.

Typical engagement: ongoing advisory retainer. Format: regular sessions, ad hoc reviews, and board-level support.
